When we first reported on Netflix Bites ambitious plans to enter the Las Vegas dining scene back in October 2024, the concept seemed almost too fantastical to be true. Now, having experienced Netflix Bites Vegas firsthand at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, we can share what this unique dining venture actually delivers.
This isn’t just another themed restaurant – it’s a one-year culinary residency that transforms beloved Netflix shows and movies into an immersive dining experience. Located on the casino floor near the lobby entrance, Netflix Bites Vegas represents a bold move in experiential entertainment, building upon the success of their 2023 Los Angeles pop-up which saw reservations fully booked for over six weeks.
Beyond Just Dining
What sets Netflix Bites Vegas apart from traditional themed restaurants is its commitment to immersive storytelling. The Las Vegas location joins a growing portfolio of successful Netflix experiences, including The Queen’s Ball: A Bridgerton Experience and Stranger Things: The Experience. With their experiential installations reaching an impressive 7.5 million fans across 170 openings in 100 cities worldwide, Netflix has proven they know how to bring their digital content into the physical world.
The Netflix Experience & Atmosphere
Step through the entrance and you’ll find props from shows like Stranger Things and Bird Box displayed throughout the space, plus all the artwork on the walls is inspired by your favorite Netflix shows – from playful illustrations to clever show references. Every detail in the space tells a story, with neon signs featuring quotes from popular shows and custom artwork that brings Netflix’s vast content library to life. They start you off with complimentary popcorn, making you feel like you’re dining inside your favorite Netflix world.
Every dish and drink on the menu has been thoughtfully connected to Netflix’s content library, creating an experience that goes beyond just themed names – these are interactive culinary moments designed to transport you into your favorite shows.
Menu Highlights & What We Tried
Every dish and drink on the menu is themed after a Netflix show. We tried the Love is Blind cocktail experience, where my wife got to choose everything that went into my drink (brave, I know). She went for the Mind Flayer from Stranger Things, which comes topped with a cotton candy cloud that creates quite the spectacle. The beverage program here is creative and interactive, making each drink feel like its own character from your favorite series.
The menu features clever touches throughout, like the “Red Bite, Green Bite” chicken dish that comes with an interactive wheel-spinning element to determine your dipping sauce fate – a clever nod to the tension-filled moments in various Netflix productions. Their elaborate sushi presentation, the “Grand Line Showboat,” draws inspiration from ONE PIECE, featuring fresh nori rolls with spicy tuna and various accompaniments.
For dessert, we tried ‘The Dessert is Lava’ – a chocolate lava cake where you get to pit gummy contestants against each other to see who survives. These interactive elements really bring the Netflix experience to life on your plate. Each menu item tells its own story, from presentation to flavor combinations.

Areas for Improvement
While Netflix Bites offers an enjoyable dining experience, they’ve missed an opportunity with their memorabilia display. There’s a small cabinet near the front with Netflix items, but compared to how establishments like Hard Rock Cafe showcase their music memorabilia, it feels underwhelming. The concept begs for more costumes, set pieces, and props to fully immerse diners in the Netflix world. After all, this connection to beloved shows is what draws people to a themed restaurant like this.
Looking Ahead
This venture represents more than just a restaurant opening – it’s part of Netflix’s broader strategy to create tangible connections with its audience. With plans for Netflix House locations in Dallas and Philadelphia later in 2025, it’s clear that the streaming giant sees significant value in creating immersive experiences that let fans physically step into their favorite shows. As a one-year culinary residency, Netflix Bites Vegas serves as an innovative blueprint for how streaming content can transcend the screen.
Worth Your Time?
Despite the limited memorabilia, Netflix Bites delivers a unique dining experience that both Netflix fans and food enthusiasts will appreciate. The combination of themed menu items, excellent service, and interactive elements makes it worth visiting during its one-year residency at MGM Grand. The attention to detail in the menu creation, the engaging presentation of dishes, and the overall atmosphere create something special. And here’s a fun final touch – your bill arrives in one of those retro red Netflix DVD envelopes.
