Eight minutes from the Strip, tucked into Town Square, there’s an Indian restaurant quietly changing what South Asian food can look like in the desert. Tamba Indian Kitchen reopened after a 20-year break. As a Brit who takes his curry seriously, I can tell you this place is the real deal.
A Fresh Take on Indian Dining
Forget what you think you know about Indian restaurants. Tamba does things differently. Chopsticks sit alongside traditional cutlery. The minimalist space feels more like a high-end spa than a curry house, all clean lines and calm. The food gets to be the star.
During my visit, a DJ played wooden flute music. The dining room turned almost meditative. Service was spot-on: attentive but never hovering. And the place? Immaculately clean.
The Food: Simply Outstanding
We ordered way too many dishes. Every single one delivered. The standout? Their homemade paneer. Impossibly fresh, with a delicate texture you won’t find elsewhere in Vegas. Each plate arrived looking beautiful, packed with flavours that took me straight back to London’s best.
The attached cocktail bar, Baradu, serves creative drinks for the adventurous. I kept it traditional with a crisp Kingfisher beer. It paired perfectly.
